American Crow
Size: 17-21 inches
This bird is smart! It can figure out how to solve problems like opening a clam shell by dropping it onto a rock from above. This bird can been seen most everywhere.
Sounds: "caaaw"
Food: Insects, other small invertebrates, small vertebrates, bird eggs, nestlings,
seeds (especially corn), nuts
Nest: cup nest in tree
In Marin: year round
