Turn right onto Industrial Way and access the site through the gate which is open on work days. Google Map \nPlease fill out the Volunteer Sign Up Form HERE \nIf you are under the age of 18 please fill\, sign\, and bring to the event the Minor Waiver HERE \nJoin Marin Audubon Society Property Coordinators for seasonal tasks to maintain and improve habitat for birds and other wildlife at the Corte Madera Marsh Ecological Reserve. The importance of this 5 acre portion of the marsh stems from its location\, bounded on three sides by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife’s Corte Madera Ecological Reserve. On the south boundary is the Heerdt Marsh\, a tidal marsh that has never been diked\, on the east filled land of the Reserve and on the north the Reserve’s parking lot. SUMMARY:Corte Madera Marsh Ecological Reserve (CMMERE) Volunteer Work Day
DESCRIPTION:Date: Every second Saturday of the month from 10:00 – 1:00 \nDirections: Take the Redwood Highway Frontage Road north past the World Market Shopping Plaza. Turn right onto Industrial Way and access the site through the gate which is open on work days. Google Map \nPlease fill out the Volunteer Sign Up Form HERE \nIf you are under the age of 18 please fill\, sign\, and bring to the event the Minor Waiver HERE \nJoin Marin Audubon Society Property Coordinators for seasonal tasks to maintain and improve habitat for birds and other wildlife at the Corte Madera Marsh Ecological Reserve. The importance of this 5 acre portion of the marsh stems from its location\, bounded on three sides by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife’s Corte Madera Ecological Reserve. On the south boundary is the Heerdt Marsh\, a tidal marsh that has never been diked\, on the east filled land of the Reserve and on the north the Reserve’s parking lot. Triangle Marsh is between Golden Hind Passage and the Marin Montessori School. This 31-acre property\, acquired in 1999\, is located on Paradise Drive across from the Ring Mountain Preserve in Corte Madera.
