SUMMARY:Corte Madera Marsh Ecological Reserve (CMMERE) Volunteer Work Day
DESCRIPTION:Date: Every second Saturday of the month from 10:00 – 1:00 \nDirections: Take the Redwood Highway Frontage Road north past the World Market Shopping Plaza. On the south boundary is the Heerdt Marsh\, a tidal marsh that has never been diked\, on the east filled land of the Reserve and on the north the Reserve’s parking lot. CMMERE’s historic tidal marsh is habitat for a large population of the endangered Ridgway’s rails in addition to shorebirds and waterfowl.  \nRain cancels our work days. \nFor questions please reach out to the Volunteer Coordinator volunteercoordinator@marinaudubon.or or the Property Coordinator Martha Jarocki at  marthajarocki@gmail.com.
