SUMMARY:Corte Madera Marsh Ecological Reserve (CMMERE) Volunteer Work Day
DESCRIPTION:Date: Every second Saturday of the month from 10:00 – 1:00 \nDirections: Take the Redwood Highway Frontage Road north past the World Market Shopping Plaza. Turn right onto Industrial Way and access the site through the gate which is open on work days. On the south boundary is the Heerdt Marsh\, a tidal marsh that has never been diked\, on the east filled land of the Reserve and on the north the Reserve’s parking lot. CMMERE’s historic tidal marsh is habitat for a large population of the endangered Ridgway’s rails in addition to shorebirds and waterfowl.  \nRain cancels our work days. \nFor questions please reach out to the Volunteer Coordinator volunteercoordinator@marinaudubon.or or the Property Coordinator Martha Jarocki at  marthajarocki@gmail.com.
